Maya past away to soon in the age of 21 and our hearts are heavy with grief. We - her family in Denmark - invite you to give a donation to the Danish Refugee Council (www.drc.dk) to other people in need around the world in the memory of Maya Karin Person. Maya was a true volunteer of her own. Maya's wish was to have her friends and family get together to volunteer for the Christmas season and help the homeless and those in need in our community. The family in Canada have selected 6 organizations who do awesome work in supporting those in need and they invite all our friends and families to volunteer their time or donate money or goods to these organizations on Saturday December 17th in memory of Maya Karin Person. Comments will be left on this event which will include volunteer opportunities and a list of places requiring donations. Please plan to support and/or volunteer as we make Maya's wish come true.
